Glass is what we do at Elev8!
At Elev8, glass is our passion. From the glass air pathway components that we use in our vaporizers, to the amazing world of glass art, we love everything to do with this exciting medium. Glass is the cleanest and most flavorful way to enjoy herbs and concentrates, and since we wanted the Silver Surfer Vaporizer to produce the best-tasting vapor possible, it was natural for us to dive into all things glass.
We founded our Elev8 Premier glassblowing studio in Colorado Springs, Colorado to manufacture the glass components for the SSV, and from there we branched into pipes, water pipes, and glass art. While we offer an array of heady glass pieces for the serious connoisseurs, we also offer a huge variety of glass products like our cremation art glass, custom drinking glasses, and even raw glass for blowers. For connoisseurs on a budget we offer our affordable Elev8 Glass line. We even make our own line of borosilicate color called Butter Glass.

Most of our glass products are made from borosilicate glass, this is a highly impact and temperature resistant form of glass that is preferred by glassblowers for its extreme durability and the ease with which it can be worked. We also offer some products which are made from quartz glass, this is an extremely temperature resistant form of glass which is hard to work with but which is ideal for concentrate components like bangers and dab dishes.

Vaporizers are Elev8's bread and butter! We were founded when our CEO Steve Kelnhofer designed the Silver Surfer Vaporizer in 2004, and since that time we have assembled a full product line of dry herb and concentrate vaporizers. These are not e-cigarettes or nicotine vaporizers, these are true herbal desktop vaporizers for connoisseurs who want to get the best possible flavor profile from their favorite dry herbs.
The goal of any herb and concentrate vaporizer is to heat your herb to the vaporization temperature (boiling point) of the desirable compounds without combusting the herb itself, but you don't have to be a biologist it's much easier than it sounds! Through a process of trial and error you will quickly learn how to use your new vaporizer to extract maximum flavor from your favorite herbs and concentrates.

Herb and concentrate vaporizers work by utilizing three different heating methods. Our flagship vaporizer, the Silver Surfer Vaporizer, is a true convection vaporizer meaning that it does not heat the herbs directly; instead air is drawn over the heating element and passed through the herb. The hot air heats the herb to release the desired compounds which are then inhaled. This is Elev8's preferred heating method: the SSV, DBV, LSV, the Super Surfer, and the ELEV8R are all convection vaporizers. Conduction vaporizers like our Wax Maxer V2 Pro Dab Pen heat the herb or concentrate directly, and hybrid vaporizers like our SideKick Vaporizer use a combination of convection and conduction heating. Herb and concentrate vaporizers can be portable units like the SideKick and ELEV8R, or they can be desktop vaporizers like the SSV, and while desktop vaporizers have taken on many forms over the years, the most common systems will use either a whip (like the SSV) or a vapor bag (like the Super Surfer and Volcano).

Dabbing

Elev8 has all of your dabbing needs! Dabbing is a popular method for consuming waxy oils and concentrates, and there is a wide range of products and accessories that are specifically designed for dabbing. Whether you need a new dab rig, banger, or maybe even just some storage containers, Elev8 has got you covered!
Experienced dabbers will often use some form of water pipe (called a 'dab rig') to filter and cool the hot concentrate vapors. Dab rigs are typically used in conjunction with a banger, e-nail, or dab dish setup to heat the concentrates to their vaporization temperature. These setups will often require the use of a carb cap to control airflow, and users will typically have a dedicated dab tool for scooping up concentrates.

Beyond the essential tools, Elev8 also carries a huge assortment of dabbing accessories which are designed to make the whole process more convenient and/or efficient. Bangers are often used with small glass beads called "terp pearls" which help to agitate the surface of the concentrate while it is being heated, and we make a specialized tool just for terp pearls! Some users prefer to use a more simple dabbing device like the dab straw or nectar collector. In any case, a silicone container like our Huny Bucket can help manage and store concentrates when they aren't being used.
Glass dabbing accessories will typically be made from either borosilicate glass or quartz glass, depending on its intended use. Quartz glass is ideal for any components that will be heated directly during the dabbing process, but some affordable bangers and dab straws will be made from borosilicate glass which works just fine as long as the user is careful not to change the temperature of the glass too quickly.

The secret to the solubility of our Simply-Soluble CBD is the use of nanoemulsion technology. Nanoemulsion allows ordinarily immiscible oils and waters to become miscible on a nanoscopic scale.
