What is missing in your CBD?

In recent years CBD is getting a ton of attention due to being federally legal and that your body has a built in endocannabinoid system that works with CBD. But did you know that all CBD is NOT created equal? While all CBD (cannabidiol) are typically the same molecular structure, there are a lot of other cannabinoids in cannabis that work with CBD to enhance the effects of cannabidiol. When these additional Cannabinoids are present, this is known as Full Spectrum CBD

Is your CBD Broad spectrum?

Ok, there are all forms of CBD, and more than likely what you may be familiar with is distillate or isolate CBD. This is great when you want just CBD, but do you really just want CBD isolate or ditallate? Distillates are full spectrum, and will also contain THC, while our Simply Soluble CBD does not. We believe that you and your body want the whole essence of the cannabis plant so a distaste or broad-spectrum is what your body would prefer. Later we will talk about the added benefits of the entourage effect that happens only when your CBD is full spectrum and includes other cannabinoids.

Simply Soluble CBD is broad-spectrum meaning it contains all the plant essence, minus the THC. Our product contains 20% CBD as well as all the other cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes found in cannabis. One amazing thing we have done is remove the THC from our water soluble full spectrum CBD powder. This is great news for anyone that needs to avoid THC for a drug screening! With all the other cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes your CBD has friends to interact with, giving you a more beneficial CBD experience.

Is your CBD water soluble?

CBD naturally is not water soluble and therefore your body has a really hard time absorbing it. To make water soluble CBD the Cannabidiol molecules, and for that matter, all the cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes are transformed into nano-particles. These much smaller particles are about 1/12 the original size and are more easily absorbed by your mucous membranes. This is what makes our Simply Soluble CBD powder so great! You can put it in a drink, food, or take it topically like in the Elev8 Doll Bath Bombs.

Is your CBD nano-emulsified with a surfactant?

Nano-particles are what you need in order to get your cannabis essence to emulsify with the water. These much smaller nano-particles dissolve into water more easily. With arabic gum as a surfactant, the CBD and other cannabinoids can dissolve and mix in water. This process has been used by pharmaceutical companies for years and has also led to a higher bioavailability.

Is your CBD missing Cannabinoids?

The cannabis plant has a lot of cannabinoids naturally and CBD works better when it is with other cannabinoids. Taking out CBD is a lot easier and cheaper than making a water soluble CBD powder containing cannabinoids when we also remove the THC. This is why most CBD products only use a CBD isolate. Plain and simple when it comes to a more well-rounded CBD experience you need to have all the other cannabinoids.

Is your CBD missing Flavonoids?

Flavonoids are basically plant chemicals that have an effect on the plant's appearance and smell. The flavonoids in cannabis are kind of cannafalvin and they carry a synergistic property that is vital in your cannabis experience working with the cannabinoids for that entourage effect.

Is your CBD missing Terpenes?

Terpenes are responsible for the wonderful taste and smell you love of the amazing cannabis plant. Each strain has its unique terpene profile, but overall cannabis has its steady base of terpenes. Terpenes are basically the aromatic oils that some plants excrete natural or as a defense mechanism. Today there are about 200 known terpenes, but more are being found all the time. Science seems to point out that there is also an entourage effect with terpenes and cannabinoids, with CBD as the main cannabinoid in our Simply Soluble CBD water-soluble powder.

What is the Entourage Effect?

This is the theory that all the compounds in cannabis work together, and when they are taken as a whole, they produce a better effect than if taken alone. There are over 100 cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids in cannabis that can interact with your endocannabinoid system. Your endocannabinoid system works to help keep your body in homeostasis, or balance. The endocannabinoid system helps in many ways such as neuroprotection to the regulation of your immune system, impacting things like appetite, sleep, mood, and pain.

Did your CBD come from Colorado-grown cannabis?

To some, this is not a big deal, but one thing Colorado has is good clean fertile lands. Cannabis can absorb all the toxins from the soil, so growing in good soil is very important. It has also been found that growing at a higher elevation puts more strain on the plant from the higher UV. This causes the plant to produce more resins as a type of sunblock.
