Ben Burton AKA Burtoni Glass began working with glass world January of 1999. Lucky enough he started on the beautiful island of O'ahu, Hawaii. During his early years Burtoni scored a class with Robert Mickelsen in 2002 and opened his mind to a world of new techniques. He began with a simple starter apprenticeship making pendants and small vessels. with nearly 20 years experience, Burtoni Glass techniques and personal glass art style have improved tremendously. Later in his carrer and with the support of his family, Ben made a nice trip to Murano in Venice, Italy. He was able to work with maestro Lucio Bubacco learning age old techniques. The experiecne was so good Burtoni Glass found his way back to Murano to work with Scuola Del Vetro Abate Zanetti as Lucio's TA. Burtoni focuses on the attention to detail in his sculpted bird Dab Rigs he creates. Today he resides in Denver, Colorado with his short bully breed dogs. Burtoni Glass also enjoys the outdoors and fishing when he's not in the studio creating and collaborating on masterful pieces of functional glass art knon only as Burtoni Glass Art.
