I have had a DBV for 12 years and just replaced it - not because the other old one broke. The DBV is the main way i consume and will be so for a long time to come. The ceramic nail lasts forever. I use an extended hose so I can set the vape down and it has about 10 ft of reach. As I said, reliable and easy.

This thing has been in my life for 10 years and is finally losing its “flame”. A little over 43,000 hours of idle runtime at heat, probably close to 3 straight weeks of inhale time, and countless pounds of herb have finally taken their toll. It’s seen me through three houses, two kids, and the passing of loved ones human and animal alike. The only thing I’ve ever had to replace is the whip-hose; when money was tight I would clean it but eventually just bought a reel of medical grade replacement and called it a lifetime. How wonderful to have made this purchase so many years ago and have enjoyed it so much. Treat it right, keep it clean, keep it safe, and it will not let you down. Even after I turn this one off for the last time, it will never have let ME down. Thank you seventh-floor/elev8 for the gift of good product in an age where so much lacks solid longevity. Ole!
