The Elev8 Easy Valve Whip Adapter for the Volcano Vaporizer is a convenient way to connect an SSV-style whip system and a water pipe adapter to your Volcano Vaporizer. This will allow you to run a hose from your Volcano to a water pipe or other attachment if you have the proper Water Pipe Adapter for your rig, or you can even use a simple glass mouthpiece.
The Whip Adapter connects to the neck of the Volcano Vaporizer's Filling Chamber by slipping the whip adapter's female conical joint over the blue O-ring seated on the neck of the Filling Chamber. To properly fit the adapter, you should turn the adapter as you slip it over the O-ring; this will help prevent the O-ring from being pushed down from its original position which will cause it to not make a good seal. Make sure you fill the chamber with dry herb before attaching the whip adapter.
Once your Volcano is filled with dry herb and the adapter is properly seated on the Filling Chamber, you are ready to vaporize your dry herb. Connect a hose to the whip adapter and attach it to your rig with a properly sized water pipe adapter. We recommend that you always turn the Volcano's fan on while using the Whip Adapter because the Volcano's internal diaphragm will prevent you from being able to draw through the adapter unless the fan is keeping the diaphragm open.
You can even attach a plain glass mouthpiece to the Whip Adapter and let the Volcano blow vapor into your mouth, this gives you a diluted vapor that is very cool and which will continue to vaporize for a long period of time.
While using the Whip Adapter it is best to only turn the Volcano unit on while you are actively vaporizing from it, turning the unit on whenever you are not drawing from it. If the Volcano is left on while it is not being used the Whip Adapter could get quite hot.
When you are finished vaping your dry herb, remember to twist the Whip Adapter as you remove it from the Filling Chamber so that you don't pull the O-ring upwards and off of the neck of the filling chamber.
